Six Sigma Certificate Program

Globalization, instant communication and access to information and services continue to direct how business today is conducted. Today’s competitive environment demands we consistently delight our customers and constantly look for new ways to exceed their expectations. This is why Six Sigma quality is becoming the way business is conducted more and more.

The term Six Sigma relates to the number of mathematical defects in a process. To achieve Six Sigma quality a process must produce no more than 3.4 defects per million. Six Sigma practitioners focus on systematically eliminating defects to get as close to zero defects as possible. It is a data-driven approach and methodology for eliminating defects in any process be it manufacturing to transactional and from product to service. In addition to reducing variation in products and fewer defects, Six Sigma projects typically generate shorter cycle times, increased capacity and throughput, lower costs and higher revenues.

The Six Sigma system is often described as DMAIC – Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control. This methodology is deployed and executed throughout organizations by trained individuals achieving designations as Yellow Belts, Green Belts, and Black Belts.

The Xavier Consulting Group offers a comprehensive approach that incorporates the proven DMAIC method. Participants will learn concepts, tools and techniques to apply Six Sigma to their work. They will see work in a whole new light. They will learn how to share their ideas on what is happening in the process and how to make it better.
