Managers
of supervisors need not only to possess excellent personal
communication and decision making skills, they need to be
able to clearly articulate goals and then energize their organizations
and their staff to meet those goals. Doing so requires an
overall understanding of internal and external customers and
the exercise of personal organizational leadership skills,
planning skills and coaching skills to ensure all customer
needs are met and goals achieved through the coordinated efforts
of others.
