Green Belt: Essential Skills of the Six Sigma Approach

Green Belts will demonstrate comprehension and application of the Six Sigma methodology, tools, and techniques. The Green Belt Certificate Program provides participants with the knowledge necessary to serve as an effective team member within his or her specific business area. The Green Belt workshop provides participants with enhanced problem solving skills utilizing the DMAIC model and the relevant statistical tools within that model.

 Assignment Prior to facilitated  workshops and achievement of  Green Belt Certificate:
 Select a process at your work,  prepare a Six Sigma Team Charter  and complete all the DMAIC  steps. Prepare to present this to  your participant peers through a  facilitated discussion in three  weeks. Demonstrate and present  final application of Six Sigma  concepts and practices in a  facilitated learning setting for this  business process six weeks after  final classroom effort.
